New Sheep Wool Rug Ready To Go.
Measuring 38X20 this lovely sheep wool rug was hand woven on a peg loom.
A 100% leather tag attached on one end shows the authenticity of this rug and our brand.
Because this rug is hand made and lightly processed , it will do best in a light traffic, indoor area. Rug is also double sided so you’re able to shake and flip to freshen up the loft.
You will notice the more it is walked on, the less fuzzy it will appear as the fibers begin to mesh and bind together making it stronger and more durable.
Taking extra good care of your new wool rug will ensure it lasts for many years to come.
Natural wool rugs are different than any other rug out there. They will bring lots of conversation and interest from those who visit.
This specific piece has wool from each of the sheep that live here on our
Wild Daisy Homestead.
The wool comes from several different breeds that make up our small herd. Corriedale - Roma Dale - Baby Doll and Valais Black Nose.
This wool has not been dyed. The colors are all natural, and the altering sun-kissed shades are a testament to the way the fleeces are grown on the sheep.
This wool rug does have imperfections which makes it unique and special. It is one of a kind. No other rug will ever be exactly the same.
The cozy warm rug makes stepping out of bed, sitting on your couch, climbing out of your tub or standing in your bathroom to get ready for the day, more comfortable, easing the fatigue to our feet and back that comes from standing on hard wood or tile for extended periods.
This beautiful piece can also be used for a prayer rug. Kneeling can often times be uncomfortable and taxing on your knees. Using this sheep wool rug will allow your prayers to be said without causing painful discomfort as you kneel.
You may notice your family pets will take a liking to your new rug. They too will enjoy the plush softness of warm sheep wool when curling up to sleep.
When cleaning this wool rug spot cleaning is recommended. NEVER add this rug into a washing machine of any kind.
If necessary, soaking in lukewarm water in a tub, wringing out by rolling towels and allowing to dry outside for several days turning each day until dry, is your best option.
This rug will be placed on our website for sale. $75 and this includes free shipping right to your front door.
If you live locally and would prefer to pick it up, the price is $65.
These rugs are only available until I run out of wool. My sheep are very busy growing new lovely fleeces to share with us when late spring arrives, but supplies are extremely limited. So don’t hesitate when rugs become available, as it can take 6 months or more to grow-process and weave another.
Thank you for your interest in our rugs, homestead, animals and products. This is how we make our living and support our animals.
We appreciate each and every interaction, comment, like, and share.
