Join Our Flock and Become an Honorary Shepherd or Shepherdess.
Our farm is built on a simple, guiding promise: to be a cruelty-free and gentle homestead where every animal is treated with love, respect, dignity and gratitude. This philosophy is the bedrock of our life, and it's a value we live every day as we work to share our journey with all of you through our videos and our craft in an effort to show that gentle farm and gardening practices can be done.
Please join in our mission by becoming an honorary Shepherd or Shepherdess.
Being a shepherd is more than a job—it's a promise. It's the quiet pre-dawn check-in, the smell of fresh green hay bales. Mending the fencing, and the constant watchfulness that keeps a flock safe, healthy and content. 24/7.
Here at the farm, we pour our hearts into this promise, and we'd be honored if you would join us.
By becoming an Honorary Shepherd, you step into the virtual pasture realm, sharing in the care of our woolly family.
Your contribution isn't just a donation; it's a tangible act of kindness that keeps our farm thriving. It's the difference between hoping and knowing we can provide the best for our animals. Whether you're helping us mend the fences that keep them safe, funding the shearer who gives them haircuts and pedicures, ensuring we have the hay purchased and stocked up, or simply helping us keep the lanterns lit through the long days and sometimes nights, your support is woven into the very fabric of our farm.
So don't wait any longer, join our flock and become a virtual shepherd /shepherdess today.
Your donations will help do the following.
It stocks the barn with bales of sweet hay for the winter.
- It helps us mend the fences that keep our flock safely tucked inside their pasture and all predators out. This is a constant effort required year round and when needed.
- It funds our semi -tri annual shearing, keeping the sheep comfortable and providing the wool for our rugs we weave during the winter months.
- It ensures we can always provide vet care the moment it's needed when an issue becomes more than we can safely handle.
- It keeps the lanterns lit in the barn, covering the foundational costs that make everything else possible, whatever they may be now and in the future.
- Every sheep likes their bedtime snack so animal crackers are never far away.
- Keeping the emergency medical kit stocked.
- Keeping stock on the straw, minerals, barn lime, sawdust and other necessary supplies to keep their barn and sleeping quarters fresh and clean.
-
Helps support the many many hours dedicated to filming, editing, posting, and interacting with all of you on our Youtube and multiple social medias every day throughout the weeks, months and years so we can keep as many current videos sharing the lives of our sheep, rescue dogs, rescue cats, and any other "life in the country" daily events as we share ideas and what works for us in our quest for cruelty free farm and garden practices.
A Special Way to Leave Your Mark: Pixie Creek
This fall we started building Pixie Creek, what will one day be a beautiful creek bed to guide the natural runoff and add a little magic and enrichment for our animals living in the pasture and those of us who spend countless hours out there as well. We want you to help us build it, one stone at a time. And here comes the exciting part, this is how you can help.
For a contribution of $10 or more, we will be delighted to engrave your name (or the name of a loved one) onto a smooth river stone. This stone will then be permanently placed within the creek bed, becoming a lasting part of our farm’s landscape. Your names will forever be a part of our land, our farm, and our dreams for happier, healthier farm animals wherever they may be in the world.
Your stone will join a mosaic of names from this amazing community, a permanent reminder of the people who helped us build this dream and who believe as we do, that every animal on everyone's farm everywhere, deserves to be loved.
How to get your stone: Simply make your contribution using one of the links below and be sure to add the name you'd like engraved in the "note" or "comment" section of your donation! I will also be publishing a blog once we hit 100 names showing and listing all names and the rocks in a photo.
