This Christmas themed was created using a basic weave as well as a twining weave combined and woven by hand using cotton, linen and a polyester mix of fabrics.
It measures 39” X 36”. The cotton fringe on either end gives it an old- fashioned Christmas kind of vibe.
The deep wine color mixed with a bright Christmas red create an invigorating and festive pop of color against the white background.
The sides are finger knitted and tied off on the corners. This specific rug took approx. 40 hours to complete. The final touch for the rug completion is a 100% leather tag, hand stitched into place.
