Did you know that Peppermint has numerous potential health benefits? 

Peppermint and its oils have antispasmodic properties that help with indigestion, bloating, gas and also helps stimulate and improve the digestive enzymes we already have within our own bodies.

Peppermint has also been associated with relieving headaches, menstrual  cramping, and muscle aches. It is used in many commercial products for exactly these reasons. 

Peppermint oils are used in salves and lotions, flavoring in foods, and aroma therapy. 

Another popular way to use peppermint is to make loose leaf tea.

Oddly enough peppermint tea has relaxing and soothing effect that can promote a more restful sleep. Yet, it can also be invigorating and refreshing when waking up and getting ready for your day, 

It is not recommended for pregnant or nursing mothers.
