How Blitz Was Created

Several years ago, a friend reached out to me with a  request. She had recently rescued a beautiful horse suffering from severe swelling and pain in his front legs—his carpus, stifle, and hock areas. For those unfamiliar, these are the regions we humans might recognize as the knees and lower ankles. This overworked creature had been ridden hard throughout his life in the mountains, leaving him in constant pain and at times, nearly crippled.

As an herbalist, my friend asked if I could create a liniment or poultice to provide some relief. Inspired by her concern, I dove into research, exploring various options and studying existing products. Eventually, I crafted a test batch of liniment featuring arnica and comfrey, then took my creation to her.

When I arrived, the horse was resting in his stall, brought inside to minimize movement and further injury. My heart swelled with empathy; I have always had a deep love for horses and animals in general.  I now run a small sheep farm of my own.

After spending some time with my friend and her newly rescued horse, we got to work applying the liniment. She diligently sprayed and rubbed it into the horse’s hide, ensuring it penetrated deeply several times a day.

Just a couple of days later, I received an excited call from my friend. The liniment was working wonders! Not only was the swelling down, and his pain significantly reduced, but my friend also discovered that her own hands felt fantastic after applying the liniment. She had suffered from chronic pain in her wrists and joints for years, but this unexpected side benefit was thrilling.

She  encouraged me to consider developing a product for humans, inspired by how well the liniment had worked for both the horse and herself. This suggestion sparked the initial idea that would lead to the creation of our original product, Hors-EZE.

Fast forward to today, and that formulation has evolved into a restorative salve known as Blitz. Over the years, I have been fortunate to serve countless repeat customers who continue to seek out this remedy, expressing their desire to see it made available to others who might benefit from its healing properties.

Today, I am thrilled to share that nearly ten years later, I am actively marketing Blitz, having launched a new website and built a social media presence devoted to sharing our story.

Feedback from clients has been overwhelming. Many have reported remarkable results for various ailments, including arthritis, tendonitis, fractures, swelling, and pain in joints. Others have found relief from muscle aches, neck pain, and neuropathy, with many stating that their once-dry and cracked hands and feet have returned to a soft and smooth condition. While these experiences are not part of FDA-approved studies, the consistent testimonials from repeat users cannot be mere coincidence.

However, the most rewarding aspect of this journey is witnessing the positive impact on people's lives. Seeing them feel better, stronger, and less burdened by pain is a source of immense joy for me. I take pride in knowing that Blitz has aided many in reclaiming their lives from the grips of discomfort and stress.

I have also experienced the benefits of this salve personally, using it for my own healing. Most recently, I applied it to a scar from surgery, and the results were nothing short of incredible. It significantly reduced swelling and alleviated the severe pain from the incisions. Even my doctor inquired about it, impressed by the healing process.
